This one time it's okay to act like a complete catastrophe.
This past weekend was my bestie's birthday week. Yeah, her birthday is pretty much a national holiday in her eyes so the celebration started on Tuesday and ended on Sunday. I'm not really big on birthdays usually. Mainly because my birthday is in the summer, and unlike most girls, I'm not really a birthday kind of person. I do wish that my birthday went on while we were still on campus though because birthdays at school can be a lot of fun. This weekend was packed with craziness, confetti, and clubs. If you have a birthday at school do it up big.
There's no point in a boring birthday catastrophe.
When it's your birthday, make sure everybody knows it. It's one of the few times you can make things all about you and not get nasty looks from everybody around. Wear a tiara or a sash and make it clear it's your day. Me and my roomies bought Katherine (the birthday girl to the left) a bunch of stuff to wear out.
Decorate your friend's room. If your super broke like all of us the little things make all the difference! We chipped in and got her a small gift. Besides that we decorated her room from head to toe with confetti and balloons. She wasn't too happy about all the confetti everywhere but oh well!

Make back up plans. Sitting in on your birthday is not an option. So we decided if we didn't hear of any good parties going on we would hit up our favorite Saturday night club, Toads Place. We ended up going and it was a lot of fun. We got dressed up and danced around like crazy people screaming it was her birthday. Avoid drama though, we did get kicked out of the club after a fight but no worries we snuck back in after!
Remember, a birthday only comes once a year and it's the perfect excuse to act like a fool. So fill up your shot glasses and cheers to a new stage in your life.
This is the one time you must act like a drunken catastrophe!
Happy birthday to all of you celebrating this month!
